Ansorg Lichttechnik GmbH was founded in Ratingen in 1955. Ansorg integrated the group of companies Vitrashop / Vitra in 1991. Ansorg has been an independent company of the Vitrashop Group since 2005. The Vitrashop Group shares its success story with Vitra. Their joint roots stretch back to 1934. For decades, the entire company operated under the name of Vitra. In 1984, two independent business sectors were created: shop fitting (Vitrashop) and furniture (Vitra).
